wGrow Ventures · For founders

Founders lead the company. We help build it.

The founder remains the primary force in every venture we build: setting the direction, leading the business, and carrying the long-term ambition. wGrow Ventures plays the supporting role, bringing seed capital, production delivery, company-building capability, and preparation for future capital.

Our interests should be aligned without displacing founder leadership. We therefore seek a minority shareholding in the ventures we build together, with the exact structure agreed around the needs and stage of each company.

A rare specialist insight revealed through precise scientific observation

Founder-led by design

The founder owns the vision and leads the business

You remain responsible for the company's purpose, domain direction, key decisions, team, customers, and long-term leadership. We do not build a company around an absent founder or attempt to take over the role.

wGrow builds from the supporting position

We work behind and alongside the founder: funding selected milestones, mobilising the delivery capability of wGrow Technologies, helping shape the organisation and market proposition, and preparing the company for its next stage.

Minority ownership keeps the partnership aligned

Our participation is intended to create long-term alignment while keeping founders in the primary ownership and leadership position. The goal is shared enterprise value, not control of the venture.

We should talk if you have...

A real problem and a credible buyer

You can explain who experiences the problem, why it matters, and why someone would invest money or effort to solve it.

A domain advantage

You bring research, intellectual property, operating experience, customer access, specialised data, or an insight that is difficult to reproduce from a desk.

A meaningful role for AI

AI improves the product, workflow, economics, or decision quality in a way that customers will value. It is not present only because the market currently rewards the label.

The commitment to build

You want to create and lead a real company. You are prepared to test assumptions, listen to evidence, and stay involved through difficult early stages.

A reason wGrow can help

You need more than a cheque. You may need a product team, company-building experience, global market presence, commercial discipline, or preparation for the next capital milestone.

You do not need everything in place

We can speak with founders at different early stages:

  • A strong insight with early supporting evidence
  • Research with commercial potential
  • A prototype that needs a real product and company around it
  • A pilot requiring stronger engineering and market positioning
  • An early company preparing for wider growth and external capital

You do not need a polished presentation before contacting us. We care more about the quality of the problem, your connection to it, and the evidence you can discuss.

We may not be the right fit when...

  • The idea is a generic AI wrapper without a clear advantage
  • There is no identifiable customer or important use case
  • You only want outsourced software development
  • You only want funding and not an active building partner
  • You are unwilling to validate the idea with real users or operating evidence
  • You are not prepared to make a long-term commitment to the venture

What to share first

Tell us:

  • Who you are and why you understand this problem
  • What problem you want to solve
  • Who needs the solution
  • Why current approaches are inadequate
  • How AI creates an advantage
  • What exists today
  • What you need help with
